Prolific

Prolific is one alias used by Beau Losco-Bradley & Jonnie Muir, two young talented British Drum & Bass DJ/Producers based in South West London. The pair first began working together back in 2001, deciding to collaborate in various projects to develop and promote their music. Both having a diverse musical background and taking influence from a wealth of different genres, the duo has developed their sound over the years, striving for professional production. Their commitment to quality control has attracted the attention of a growing list of labels with releases confirmed in 2007 on Sensor, Phuzion, Rufige, Crunch & Future Thinkin.

Latest news

It seems as though ‘Prolific’ are really living up to their name with a flurry of releases scheduled for 2007. After getting a good caning from the likes of LTJ Bookem, Makoto & A-Sides their debut release ‘All Night / Sumba’ was signed to  Sensor Recordings in February and is out now in all good record shops.

Nookie has also been giving the pair his full support, having already signed tracks to his online MP3 label ‘Strictly  Digital’, a 12’ has also been confirmed on his vinyl label ‘Phuzion Records’. ‘Lemming / Boomerang’ have been  going down well on the dance floor, with ‘Lemming’ dropped in the mix from Jordan V on the cover of March’s ATM  magazine.

MC Verse has set a benchmark for production quality with recent releases on his label Crunch Recordings. After hearing a demo from Prolific their attention to detail was well recognised and rewarded with a signing for the next 12’ on Crunch. Verse & SPMC’s ‘Lost Souls’ will be accompanied by Prolific’s ‘Back Up’ for Crunch 008 which has been getting good airplay on BBC radio 1xtra’s ‘Next Chapter’ with DJ Flight. Promos should be out in shops mid May.

‘Future Thinkin’ are next on the list of well respected labels Prolific have the opportunity to channel their music  through. Spotted by DMCUT and Danny Exile a solid 12’ ‘Momentum / Subside’ has been confirmed to be released on the label in the next couple of months.

Finally, if all this wasn’t enough Prolific’s ‘Shuffle Toe’ has been picked up by the mighty DJ Bailey for the new label from Metalheadz supporting unknown talent Rufige. The track has received great feedback after being featured regularly on Bailey’s Intabeatz show and has also got great support from the infamous Goldie on his latest ‘Malice in Wonderland’ tour.  The track will be released on its own 12’ single with another heavy weight stepper on the flip ‘Focus’.
