Troubleshooting:
- Downloading Music
- Internet Explorer
- I need to add Crunch Recordings as a Trusted Site
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select "Internet Options" in the "Tools" pull down
- Click on the security tab
- Make sure "Trusted Sites" is selected in the "Content Zone" section and click "Sites..."
- Add *.Crunchrecordings.com to the "Add this website to the zone:" field
- Click "Add"
- Make sure the checkbox labeled "Require Server Verification" is left unchecked.
- Click "Ok"
- You may have to restart your browser/computer to confirm the change.
- The download blocking menu bar stops me from downloading a track
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select "Internet Options" in the "Tools" pull down
- Click on the security tab
- Make sure "Internet" is selected in the "Content Zone" section and select "custom level"
- Reset to a "Medium" setting and then scroll down to "Downloads"
- "Enable" Automatic prompting for file downloads
- You may have to restart your browser/computer to confirm the change.
- My browser does not know what to do with my file
- When you are prompted to save the files make sure that a ".mp3" is attached as the file extension. Sometimes your computer may truncate a file name and cut off the extension. The effect of this being the file is saved as a text document or index file. You can implore a simple fix by just adding the file extension ".mp3" Also, if there are any special characters such as an apostrophe or commas, this can cause issues downloading as well. Simply rename the file and remove any special characters.
- I can not download - Firewalls
- Some Firewalls may block the download of the file(s). If you are experiencing errors and are unable to download, try and disable your firewall and try the link again. Please be aware that currently only 3 attempts to download each file within a specified timeframe are granted.
- Previewing Music
- First, check to make sure your sound is turned up all the way. If you still cannot hear any sound please make sure that you have updated your flash player to the most current version. If you have a version less than 7.0, you can experience problems listening to Crunch Recordings previews. Update your Flash Player by visiting Macromedia
- Login & Password
- You can recover your password by going to the Crunchrecordings.com homepage and click on "Login." Afterwards you will see a link called "Forgot your password?" Clicking on this will take you to our password reset page. You will need to enter your default email address to proceed any further. You will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password.
- Invoices and/or email confirmations
- By default various email providers will filter our email confirmations and invoices as spam or junkmail. Adding support@crunchrecordings.com to your approved sender's list will help alleviate these issues.

- To register for a new account with Crunch Recordings, simply click on "register" at the top of the page. After reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions, enter all necessary personal information to get started. You must enter a valid email address as email confirmation is required.
